DTMO rates effective July 1, 2026

DTMO's published rates for official travel from July 1, 2026 are $0.76 per mile for an automobile, $0.74 for a motorcycle, and $1.935 for an airplane. The PCS MALT and applicable "other" rate is $0.235 per mile. Confirm the specific rate category and travel authorization.

Split a trip across the change

For mileage spanning June 30 and July 1, allocate miles by travel date and apply the rate in effect for that portion. DTMO instructed travelers with affected vouchers to amend them for the updated rate. These rates cover qualifying POV travel, not government vehicles or rental cars.
